Suriya says no to politics

Surya for the first time is acting in the Hindi film directed by Ram Gopal Varma. This film is also being made in Tamil and Telugu. This film in Tamil is titled Rattha Charithram. This spine chilling thriller is based on the real incident that took place in Andhra Pradesh.
Surya while speaking about this film to the media said,” People have the intention that this film will instigate violence. The screenplay of this film has been written in such a way that it will not instigate violence. There is law that if you commit a crime you will be punished. But though there is a law crimes continues to happen. In this film Rattha Charithram a message is being conveyed that if you commit a crime you will not go unpunished.
With regard to acting in Hindi film, I have been receiving offers in Hindi for the past few years. I did not agree for this. Since Rattha Charithram is a story of different dimension, I have agreed to act in it. I am acting for the last 12 years but I have not acted in a film like this. I can never forget this film.
To act in this film, I learnt Hindi from a person hailing from Madurai for two months. My wife Jyothika also taught me. Many are asking me whether I will foray into politics. At any point of time I will not come into politics. I think I can do lot of good deeds without coming into politics.
My father Sivakumar is giving educational aids for the poor for the last 30 years. I am also doing the same thing following his foot steps. I am satisfied in this.”

Shruti Haasan sing for Harris once again

At the moment, for the whole of Tamil Nadu and even Bollywood, Shruti only means Shruti Haasan; such is her charisma!
Sometimes she is the rock star with black-polished nails, metal rings, clad in a figure-hugging leather suit; sometimes she is the flamboyant model clad in the best labels of the world; sometimes in ethnic Indian wear, she is the personification of a complete Indian girl. Switching between all these modes with ease, Shruti Haasan has become a youth icon for a large number of youngsters in India, so much so that she is closely watched by girls of her age throughout the country to know more about fashion! Just like her parents, she's a real head-turner!
Recently, this star kid has confirmed her role in the forthcoming Surya-Murugadoss film. And this time, it's not acting alone! Sources say music director Harris Jayaraj is so impressed with her 'Adiye Kolluthe' song in Vaaranam Aayiram that he is willing to let her also croon in this flick.

The release of “Singham” is carefully planned in the last week of April, as the present ongoing exam season and IPL season are said to affect its run to a great extent, if it releases on April 16th, 2010.

Vishal' Bala’s next movie Avan Ivan

Director Bala is well known for presenting his actors with new-dimensional looks and it has been illustrious with his films with Vikram, Surya and Aarya. This time, it’s about Vishal, who seems to have gone for a stunning makeover for Bala’s next film Avan Ivan.
According to the sources, Vishal has almost shaven his head with thick beard, which faintly reminiscences Surya’s looks in Nanda. The actor has been avoiding invitations for social events so as to keep away from public glare. It seems that director Bala has insisted him not to reveal his looks until the film’s shooting are completed. Meanwhile, buzz is that Aarya’s non-punctuality has stalled the shooting and Bala has returned to Chennai. Sources from both the ends remain closemouthed pertaining to the sudden halt of filming.

Anushka's strength and weakness

Anushka while speaking to the media said,” Through Vettaikaran I came to Tamil. I have also paired with Surya. I am not worried about success and failure. After acting in a film, it is no point in breaking your head whether this film is received well or not.

I will start concentrating on my nest film and try to improve acting skills than my earlier film. My strength is my family. My weakness is to move with others. Because of this I am aloof at the shooting spots. It is my great weakness that I am not able to become friendly with cast and crew.

If you win in cinema you will be on the top otherwise they will ditch you. There should be luck to remain has number one.”

Anushka while speaking to the media said,” I am pairing with Surya in the film titled Singam. This film is a commercial entertainer. There are lots of talented people in Tamil film industry.

Each one has got the deserving place. Only if we have healthy competition, we can keep ourselves geared up. The Telugu film Vedham is getting ready for release. Lots of heroes and heroines have acted in this film. I have agreed to act in a Telugu film produced by ex makeup man Chandran.

So I am happy I was able to fulfill the promise which I have made it  earlier to him. I am not interested in becoming number one in Tamil cinema. Today you can be a star actress. But that is not permanent. I am selecting films which have good storyline.

I do not plan before hand that I should act like this or that. Each role helps you to groom your career. Currently I will be concentrating in Tamil and Telugu films only.”

Hansika Motwani donning glamorous role in Mappillai

I have acted in ten Hindi films. Because I am busy in South Indian films I have refused some Hindi offers. I am so happy that I am debuting in the Tamil film Mappillai which is the remake of the Tamil hit Rajnikanth starrer film. When I heard that this film is the remake of the film which Rajni acted, I immediately agreed to act. Rajni is my favourite actor.

I am donning the role which Amala did in the original version. Director Suraj has made a lot of changes in my character as well as in the story. Many are asking me about the glamour roles I do in Telugu films. All the actresses want to look glamorous. Audiences are also looking forward to this.
