Aadukalam heroin Tapasee denied Visa

Actress Tapasee Pannu was denied a visa for entry to Switzerland. The incident happened on Thursday when the actress flew to Mumbai from Hyderabad specifically for this purpose. Sources reveal that the Swiss consulate declined her application for visa citing that they did not have enough proof that she is an actress. She was asked, by the officials, to present paper cuttings or any other supporting documents to confirm her status as an actress.

Interestingly, Tapasee, who hails from Ludhiana, completed one year as an actress yesterday. She first acted in the Telugu movie Jhummandi Naadam. Currently, she is working with Dhanush in the movie Aadukalam which is directed by Vetrimaran of Pollathavan fame.

Enthiran every dialogue as a punch dialogue

 

After weeks of flashy trailers, ads and news reports, Superstar Rajinikanth's Enthiran (Robot in Telugu and Hindi) will grace theatres tomorrow. With Rajni in a double role (scientist and robot), Aishwarya Rai adding a dash of entertainment, not to mention A.R. Rahman's thumping music, Enthiran has raised expectations to almost breaking-point. Ajith is going to join congress?

 

Few days before Ajith attended the wedding function of ADMK person Saidhai Dhuraisamy, where he met ADMK general secretary Jayalalitha and got her blessings. Inaccordance with that it news were revealled that Ajith will be joing ADMK.

But Ajith denied it. His backdrop strongly put forward that,” as she is a leader of political party he got blessings”.

Now another ruomour is spreading all over kodambakkam that Ajith is going to join congress. It seems Ajith is getting continuous calls to join congress and to be a support for Rahul Gandhi. Regarding this, Tamil Nadu congress leader K.ThangaBalu and his colleagues are discussing with Ajith.

Also we recognize that Vijay had a wish of joining congress, few months before. But congress dint let out any information regarding that. As Vijay was under the problem of Chennai corporation, he just dropped this matter. Now congress is targeting for Ajith.

Anushka role has been confirmed in Vaanam

Rubbishing recent reports that she refused to be part of the Tamil remake of her Telugu super hit Vedam, directed by promising director Krish with Allu Arjun in the lead, reigning actress Anushka has confirmed that she would repeat the role of a sex worker Saroja in Vedam's Tamil remake titled Vaanam.

"I'm playing in Vaanam, the same character (Saroja) that I played in Vedam. When we did it in Telugu, it was a new venture, a multi-starrer and a different kind of a movie. Even though we knew it was an amazing script, we all had our inhibitions as to how people would take it. But we had a terrific response from the media and the audience. We are planning to put in a lot more in Vaanam. We are also looking to make it more commercial this time," the pretty actress was quoted as saying.

Asked how different the Tamil version is from the Telugu version, Anushka said: "I just started working on this project from Monday. The star cast is different but otherwise the version is the same." Besides Anushka, Vaanam will have Simbu, Bharath, Vega and Sonia Agarwal in the lead role. The film is produced by V.T.V. Ganesh; cinematography is by Nirav Shah and music by Yuvanshankar Raja.

Aishwarya Rai says Endhiran was not so easy

After Superstar Rajinikanth, Shankar and A R Rahman, it is now the turn of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the heroine of the film, to share her experiences working in the mega budget magnum opus of Sun Pictures.

“It was an opportunity to work with Shankar sir again, after ‘Jeans’. My joy was double when I came to know that the hero was Rajini sir. So I was more than happy when the opportunity came in the form of Endhiran”, she says.

On shaking legs to the tunes of A R Rahman, she says, “We took immense efforts to can each and every song. Shankar should be lauded for selecting the locations of Kilimanjaro… and Kadhal Anukkal… songs. Credits go to Sabu Cyril for erecting grand sets for Arima Arima…”.

“I heard and read a lot about Rajini sir before”, the former Miss World says and adds: “But I was really stunned to see him in person. Despite being such a tall personality, he is so down to earth. I am running out of words to describe his simplicity”.

Ajith, as many of us know, is a man with a big heart. And he has proved this again and again, by coming forward to lend a warm hand to those in need of help.

Sampath, who has worked with Ajith in his last venture 'Aasal' (he was there in 'Thirupathi' too), narrates one such incident that happened during the shoot of the movie in France.

"One day, Sameera wanted to leave for India and she was waiting for a cab driver to reach the airport. But the driver did not turn up and the check in time was nearing. Ajith, who noticed this, voluntarily took a car and dropped the actress," Sampath told IndiaGlitz.

He added: "I was also there in the car accompanying Ajith and Sameera. The actor, who is a racer, drove the car in a smooth and suave way. After dropping her at the airport, he called her mother in India and informed the details of the flight she took. Such a nice man is Ajith.

Actor Dhanush once again suffered from fever

 

Dhanush was suffering from fever a few days and was even admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. He could not even attend Rajini's daughter Soundarya's wedding reception. Nayanthara refuse Ajith's offer

Nayanthara’s manager Ajith has decided to quit his job. Enquiries reveal that Ajith was initially instructed by Nayan not to accept any new film offers. When offers were declined, the actress summoned Ajith asking him to accept good offers that came by. However, the lady refused to extend cooperation and failed to honor her call sheet commitments. Irked by Nayan’s behavior, Ajith has decided to call it quits.

Meanwhile, Prabhu Deva has taken over as Nayan’s manager for an ad film that she has agreed. It is not clear if Prabhu will turn to be her full-time manager in the future.

Va Quarter Cutting movie releases for Diwali

Y NOT Studio's next release after Tamizh Padam is Va. The movie stars Siva, SPB Charan and Lekha Washington in lead roles. Directed by Pushkar - Gayathri, this movie was shot in various places in Chennai. Since the subject is about events happening between 6:30 PM and 6:30 AM, the film had to be shot at night or during the wee hours of the day. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer.

Music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, has already been released and the latest news is that the post production work is almost complete and the film is slated for a Diwali release. If you are wondering what 1/4 in the title means, Va in Tamil numerals indicate 1/4 (Quarter).

Venkat Prabhu excited about Mangatha

Venkat Prabhu is more excited about is much awaited Mangatha with Thala Ajith, which is going to start its shoot from October 20 in Hyderabad. Starring Ajith and Trisha in lead roles, which is to be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri.

Venkat as a director always stays cool, put forward that this film is based on some different people trying to do something and its end up in an unexpected way. This film is going to have lots of surprises, though it is a action movie with darker shade in it, there is no violence involved.

He started with “after hearing the final script Ajith sir gave me a hug, which was really encouraging”. Actor Karthi’s to do Dual Role in ‘Siruthai’ Movie

The most happening hero Karthi is playing a lead role in ‘Siruthai’ a remake of Telugu hit Vikramarkudu. And Karthi would be seen playing a dual role in Siruthai for the first time. The film has Karthi enacting dual roles as a tough IPS officer and other one as a petty thief , the total contrast.

The posters released by the makers recently had a very different looking Karthi, sporting a Cop get-up.

Cheeyan Vikram doing comeo role in Urumy

Cheeyan Vikram has left everyone guessing as to what he will be doing next. Announcement of new projects taken up and more announcements of dropping projects, Vikram has not revealed much of late.

But what we know for sure is that Vikram will be doing a cameo in the much expected historical film ‘Urumy’ in Malayalam.

The film is directed by Santosh Sivan and has Prithviraj and Genelia in main lead roles. Prabhu Deva does an important role.

With Santosh Sivan at the helm of affairs his influence is attracting many biggies to do cameos. Tabu and Vidya Balan have agreed to be a guest in the film and now Vikram is also added to the list.

As days go by the film is likely become a true multi starrer with more names adding up. A fan doesn’t complain.
