Endhiran release again in Theatres soon with 3D
There were speculations last week that Endhiran will be made in 3D and will be released in theatres soon. If that was great news to the admirers of Endhiran, the news today comes as a moment of glum. Sun Pictures' CEO Mr. Hansraj Saxena has quashed all the rumours and news about Endhiran's 3D avatar and has said that there are no plans to convert the film into 3D. This has ended all talks about the movie's new version.
Though it is the new trend in Hollywood to release old films in 3D, the latest development has surely disappointed fans who were expecting to see their Thalaivar in 3D.

Sameera Reddy to perform for Endhiran song
Sameera Reddy has been shooting for a Hindi film in London, which is being directed by Priyadarshan. But this did not stop the lady from participating in the 40th year celebrations of the Directors’ Council.
The lady took a few days off from her shooting schedule to fly back to Chennai and she will be seen performing for the Endhiran song in this grand event. Sameera, who is a huge fan of Rajinikanth and Endhiran, feels it is her way of paying tribute to the superstar.

Endhiran to dub in English with 3D effect
Yeah we know, Chitty, the Robo can speak any language but what is news is ‘Endhiran’ will be dubbed in English!
Not just being dubbed in English, Endhiran’s Indian versions – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi along with the new English version will have added 3D Video footage! After being the talk of the mouth in almost every part of the world, the producers Sun Pictures, are contemplating to cashing on the rage by dubbing the movie in English and also include 7 Minutes of 3D footage that was originally not included in the movie.
There were gossips that ‘Endhiran’ would have a few scenes made in 3D but camera man Rathnavel informed before the release of the movie that the 3D version wasn’t really a viable option as it was time consuming as well as a burden to few theatre owners because they would have to install 3D screens.
Well looks like the English version is sure to happen along with the 3D footage. Off late the 3D trend is on an upswing in Hollywood and Indian cinema is not behind! And Superstar Rajinikanth will have an increased fan base after the English release!
This is what we call ‘Endhiran Version 3.0’!

Vikram team up with Director Rajesh
Director Rajesh is on top after just two films. His 'Siva Manasula Sakthi' and 'Boss Engira Baskaran' have taken him to the big league with reports suggesting that he is paid in crores for his upcoming films.
Rajesh's situational comedies have a unique style and that feel good comedies has too many takers. Proof... 'Boss Engira Baskaran' is back to regular shows withstanding the 'Endhiran' tsunami for two weeks. ‘BEB’ is into its fifth successful week.
After ‘BEB’, Rajesh will be directing Udhayanidhi Stalin in a romantic comedy and then will move on to a film with Vikram. Yes folks, Cheeyan Vikram.
Vikram of late has been walking out of projects just like that and nobody was able to figure out where Cheeyan was heading. The last news we heard about Vikram was that he had confirmed a film 'Deivamagan' with ‘Madrasapattinam’ Vijay.
After that, sources say, Vikram has finalised a film under Rajesh. Rajesh is expected to travel in his familiar route with Vikram and it is going to be a new experience for Cheeyan who has not done an outright comedy till date.

News 2:
Rajinikanth film Endhiran box office collection cross all previous records in North America & Europe
Mumbai: When Rajnikanth starrer Endhiran was released in Tamil Nadu it was a huge hit. Just in a few days time hundreds and thousands of fans turned up at theatres to watch their superstar perform. It turned out to be a blockbuster. The fever spread to other South Indian states too with an overwhelming response.
It was expected to sweep all over India in week. But that has not happened so. The sci-fi mega budget Robot has failed to click. The Hindi version of the hit movie in South has been released in north India as Robot. Looking at its performance in South India, many movie analysts had predicted it to be a huge hit in North India also.
But reports have surfaced that the film has lost out to another Hindi movie Anjaana Anjaani. The romance filled movie starring Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor has been appreciated by north Indian viewers.
The audience in this region has opted for the young romance saga. But this is not something unexpected. South Indian actors have rarely clicked in Bollywood. When Rajnikanth established himself as a super star he landed in Bollywood to test his mettle.
Save a few film, Rajnikanth was unable to give a hit. That is why after sometime he went back to South. And there he once again established himself as the most popular star. This happened with Kamal Hasan also a talented South Indian actor.
In the initial weekend itself, Anjaana Anjaani has earned around Rs.260 million. On the other hand Robot that has Aishwarya Rai grossed Rs.70 million. But in the southern region, Endhiran that is also known as Robot has broken all records. Till now it has earned Rs.1 billion. And it is still going strong.

Endhiran No. 1 spot in USA
It’s not any more a news if one says ‘Endhiran’ has created a box office record in India. But the news of ‘Endhiran’ taking the No. 1 spot in USA is something to cheer about for his fans.
In the first weekend box-office collections ‘Endhiran’ has left the much expected Bollywood film ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ to a distant second position. The Hindi version ‘Robot’ was very close to ‘Anjaana Anjaaani’ in third place despite releasing in less than half locations.
‘Endhiran’ during the first weekend collected $1,520,108 from 64 locations. ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ collected $517,608 from 91 locations. ‘Robot’ managed to collect $481,680 from just 36 locations.
So with almost four times the collection of ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, Thalaivar proves he is the king of box office from Aminjikarai to Atlanta. Boom Boom Roboda.

Aishwarya Rai says Endhiran was not so easy
After Superstar Rajinikanth, Shankar and A R Rahman, it is now the turn of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the heroine of the film, to share her experiences working in the mega budget magnum opus of Sun Pictures.
“It was an opportunity to work with Shankar sir again, after ‘Jeans’. My joy was double when I came to know that the hero was Rajini sir. So I was more than happy when the opportunity came in the form of Endhiran”, she says.
On shaking legs to the tunes of A R Rahman, she says, “We took immense efforts to can each and every song. Shankar should be lauded for selecting the locations of Kilimanjaro… and Kadhal Anukkal… songs. Credits go to Sabu Cyril for erecting grand sets for Arima Arima…”.
“I heard and read a lot about Rajini sir before”, the former Miss World says and adds: “But I was really stunned to see him in person. Despite being such a tall personality, he is so down to earth. I am running out of words to describe his simplicity”.
“One important thing about Shankar is that he never forgets the common man’s fantasy and what would be entertaining for the ordinary citizen. He brings all this into his films. We all had worked hard for ‘Endhiran’. And the outcome is to be seen from tomorrow”, she

Super star's ‘Endhiran’ changes rules in Sandalwood
The super star film ‘Endhiran’ has put Kannada film industry in affix over the number of theaters to be allotted for the mega film.
While all the nitty-gritty in the release of ‘Endhiran’ is being finalised to perfection around the world, the Karnataka film industry is yet undecided on a few things. The Karnataka rights for ‘Endhiran’ have been sold to three distributors at a collective price of Rs. 8.50 crores which is the total business made by an original Kannada block buster film.
Considering the huge cost and the anticipation of the masses over the film the three distributors of ‘Endhiran’ have requested the Karnataka Film Chamber to allow screening ‘Endhiran’ in more than 24 screens in all languages.
Karnataka Film Chamber had earlier passed a dictate restricting a film not to be allowed in more than 24 screens at a time. When ‘Raavanan’ was released earlier the same issue was discussed. The producers of ‘Raavanan’ argued it is a three language film and so each language should be allotted 24 screens each.
The ‘Endhiran’ distributors are demanding more than 60 screens for Tamil and Telugu versions. Meanwhile the Hindi version ‘Robot’ may also land up in the hands of the same people with an additional payment of Rs. 1.5 crores.
Rajinikanth’s earlier super hit ‘Sivaji’ was sold for Rs.2.5 crores to HD Gangaraju former KFCC President for Karnataka. When compared the price for ‘Endhiran’ is almost four times of ‘Sivaji’. So the distributors are in talks with theatre owners to increase the ticket rate across the state.
By initial estimates a Rs.75 ticket in Bangalore may go up to Rs.200 it is reliably learnt. The highest Gold Class in PVR Multiplex that costs Rs.500 in normal cases would go up to Rs.3000 according to sources.
Tell us where in the world ‘Endhiran’ has not created the ripples before the release.

For Sabu Cyri, the art director, ‘Endhiran’ is going to be one of the important films of Indian cinema. “Shankar planned the film a decade ago and I knew the story since then. It is a delight to work in such a venture.”
Antony, who has edited ‘Endhiran’, says, “we did real time editing as it would take much time otherwise. Shankar has given his heart and soul to the film and ‘Endhiran’ would be a spectacular experience to the audience.”

Endhiran is a film which has Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles. This is first sci-fi film in Indian cinema. This film is produced by Kalanidhi Maaran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film directed by Shankar has the music of A R Rahman.

Endhiran movie official release date as 1st Oct 2010
Endhiran will release worldwide on October 1st, 2010, states a press note from its producers – Sun Pictures. The film has created a lot of hype among the masses especially with the audio launch in July and the recent trailer launch.
Yet another major reason for the expectations soaring high is Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai, who shares the screen space with each other for the first time. Shankar has directed this film with music by Oscar winner AR Rahman.
It may be recalled that the film was certified by the Censor Board just a couple of days before.

Why not Endhiran 3D version?
Asserting that there were plans to go for a 3D version of 'Endhiran' initially, cinematographer of the mega budget film Rathnavel has said the idea had to be dropped due to various reasons.
"One of the reasons behind giving up the idea was theatre owners would have to change their screens for the 3D version. Besides the fact that the process could cost them much, it is also a time consuming factor", he said.
The cameraman, who is popularly called as Randy, added: "In addition to that, many in Hollywood are not happy about the 2D to 3D conversion process. So we had no other option than dropping the idea".
On working with Superstar Rajinikanth, he said, "His hard work and dedication amazed me a lot. He was like a fresher on the sets of ‘Endhiran’, doing whatever the director wanted him to do. In a word, he is the Superstar".
