Poonam Bhajwa learns Yoga
Perhaps taking the cue from Anushka, who is a Yoga master, Poonam Bhajwa is now learning the art from a renowned master in Mumbai, say circles close to her. And not just Yoga, she is a regular to gym too, they add.
Confirming this, the ‘Thenavattu’ and ‘Kacheri Aarambam’ actress says, “I always wanted to keep my body and mind fit. So I am learning Yoga besides practicing at a gym near my house. These things help me feel fresh all the day.”
Poonam is currently acting in ‘Thambikottai’ opposite Narain. “I don’t believe in accepting films unless there is enough scope for the role I play. So I am choosy about offers and this is the reason behind not acting in many movies at a time.”
On ‘Thambikottai’, she says, “It is an action movie however with a message. How a pair of lovers unites two warring villages, forms the crux of the story. I am hopeful that ‘Thambikottai’ will take me to heights.”Top Image Gallery of Today: Tamanna image Gallery Anushka image Gallery Sameera Reddy image Gallery Sunaina image Gallery

Paiyaa to break Pokkiri movie record
Remember, when Vijay’s ‘Pokkiri’ was released, the theatres were house-packed for the first 25 days, setting a great record at box office. In all likelihood, Karthi’s recent release ‘Paiyya’ is all set to bringing home the bacon with the similar style. The film was released during first week of April that was followed by summer vacations. Doubtlessly, the film is turning to be a top-drawer across all the centres. The producers have openly admitted the report with the centres of release across the City, NSC and overseas areas, where the shows are houseful. It’s evident that Karthi would surely hop-skip into the main league of superstars within short span of time. On the equivalencies, it’s turning to be a heavy downpour of praises for Cloud Nine Productions and director Lingusamy for their fantabulous showpiece.

Sura tickets were sold very quickly
With a concentric phase of promotions bounded to Vijay’s ‘Sura’, it has kick-started the irresistible mania in town. Followed by the grand success of ‘Vettaikaaran’, Sun Pictures is literally ambitious with its Midas touch over ‘Sura’ as well. The film is slated to hit screens this weekend and the booking plans have been already opened throughout all the centres. It’s worth mentioning that the tickets were sold within fraction of moments even at the unimaginable costs. Especially, the single screen centres at outskirts of Chennai have almost tagged a price with accordance to that of Mayajaal pricing.Well, when it’s Vijay, his fans never mind burning candles at both ends just as his producers.

Sadha don't get good Tamil films opportunity till now
Since Sadha did not have much opportunity in Tamil films, she switched over to Hindi films. After a long hiatus she is now acting in a Tamil film titled Puli Vesham directed by P Vasu. While speaking to the media, she said,” I was getting lot of offers from Tamil industry.
But they did not have good stories. I have already decided that I will act in films that have good stories and challenging roles. That is why this gap. In between I had acted in two Hindi films and that is why I was not able to act in other films.
P Vasu sir had already approached me for some films but because call sheet problems I was not able to act in them. I had a bad feeling that I was not able to act in his films and that is why I agreed to act in Puli Vesham the moment he called me.
After Chandramukhi and Kuselan, P Vasu directed the Kannada film Aptharakshaka which turned out to be a super hit. Because of this there are a lot of expectations for Puli Vesham. I have belief I will come for another round in Tamil cinema after the success of this film.
There are rumors that Madhavan and I have become intimate. In the film Priysakhi we both have acted as husband and wife. We acted intimately like husband and wife in the love making scene. When the scene was shot, Madhavan’s wife was also present. She is a close friend of mine. So I am not worried about these rumors.”

Kamalini Mukherjee's desire and Dream
Kamalini Mukherjee has expressed her desire to wield the megaphone. “It’s my dream to direct a film. Though my concentration at present is on acting, I would direct a movie in the future,” she says.
The ‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu’ actress, who is making a comeback in Tamil film industry with ‘Kuttrapirivu’, a movie starring Srikanth and Prithviraj in lead roles, says, “I am learning the nuances of directing on the sets of each and every movie I act.” On ‘Kuttrapirivu’, she says, “I play the role of a college girl who becomes a school teacher after completing the studies. I had to come out with two different body languages since the role demanded it.”
Saying she is currently doing a guest role in the Telugu remake of ‘Aptha Rakshaka’, a sequel to ‘Chandramukhi’, Kamalini adds: “I don’t find anything odd to do guest roles. Why should I bother as long as my character gets enough importance like the one I did in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu?”
