Super star's Endhiran ticket sold like a hot cakes in USA

The tickets for the film Endhiran was sold within 10 minutes when the booking plans opened throughout North America.

The theatres are full for a week’s time. So far no other Indian cinema has been booked so fast. In that way it is a record break says Sun Pictures. Normally in America the plans will open only before a week’s time before the release of any Indian cinema.

But the plans for Endhiran were opened 12 days before its release. The tickets were sold out within 10 minutes when the booking counters were opened at Jackson Heights in New York.

Endhiran is a film which has Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles. This is first sci-fi film in Indian cinema. This film is produced by Kalanidhi Maaran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film directed by Shankar has the music of A R Rahman.

Superstat has gone to Tirupathi

Actor Rajnikanth along with his family had gone to worship Lord Venkateswara at Tirupathi. He was given Laddu and Holy Water as prasadam. Rajnikanth along with his wife, daughter Soundarya and her husband Aswin had gone in a car from Chennai to worship the Lord Venkateswara at Tirupathi temple.

He took some rest in the Pamavathi Guest House and left to the Temple. He was welcomed by the temple authorities and Veda pundits.

After the welcoming ceremony he was taken through the VIP entrance for worshipping the Lord at 9 pm. His wife, daughter and son in law accompanied Rajni to worship.

He was offered sweet and holy water in the temple premises. After this he returned to the guest house and took rest.

Rajnikanth says Kamal is his elder brother

Rajnikanth while speaking about Kamal Haasan recently said,” I need two days to speak about Kamal. Kamal is my cinema elder brother. Today’s people may not be aware that Kamal was a great star. At the time when I entered cinema, Kamal was a great super star than now.

Rajni’s daughter Soundarya speaks about her Marriage

The wedding engagement of the industrialist Aswin and Rajni’s daughter Soundarya is to take place on 17^th February. Soundarya wile speaking about this said,” I know Aswin for the past one year.

My parents and his parents are good family friends. When I told my father about our love, he agreed. This love marriage has taken place with both the parents’ approval.

I am really that I have chosen Aswin. I did not have the intention of selecting a bridegroom from my profession. At the same time Aswin respects my profession. After marriage we will be staying in Chennai.

Balasundaram belongs to Devar Films family. Devar Films is known for producing films which had M G R , Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan in the cast.

Now for the first time Balasundaram’s son-in-law R K Suresh is producing a film . This film has been titled as Thambi Kottai. Narain is doing the lead role while Poonam Bajwa is pairing with him. Prabhu and Meena are doing important roles. Sangeetha, Kausalya, Aarthi, M S Bhaskar, Santhanam, Kanga Karuppu, Manobala, Alex, Rajendran, Crane Manohar and Muthukalai are also starring in this film.

D Imman is composing the music while Kannan handles the camera. R Ammu Ramesh who won the gold medal in the film institute for directing a short film titled Ammu is directing Thambi Kottai. He was also an assistant of Jayam Raja.

Ammub Ramesh Hs has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues. The shooting of the film is to take place in Chennai, Hyderabad, Kulu Manali, Pollachi, Kumbakonam, Pattukottai and Dindigul.

This remake of the Rajnikanth hit has garnered enough attention right from the day it was announced. With Sun Pictures acquiring the rights of Maapillai, the expectation meter has just gone further up.

The remake Maapillai has music scored by Mani Sharma. Maapillai is about the tiff between a rich and powerful mother-in-law and the poor son-in-law. While the late actress Sri Vidya essayed the role of Rajini’s mother-in-law in the original version, Jayaprada will be donning the greasepaint for the remake.
