Sneha turns glamour actress

Sneha who was donning homely roles so far was very firm in not doing glamour roles in spite of her colleagues switching over to glamour roles. But now glamour has become indispensable thing in Tamil cinema.
So Sneha has made up her mind to do glamour roles. She underwent rigorous work outs to trim her physique in order to act in the film Bhavani IPS. So, people close to her have advised that this was the appropriate time for her to do glamour roles since she has slimmed now.
They have also mentioned that she would look more beautiful. Sneha has now made up her mind to reduce her attires. Fans cannot forget the glamour she showed in a song sequence in the film Pandi which had Lawrence in the lead role.
Currently she is acting in Tamil films Murattu Kalai, Angaadi Theru, Ponnar Shankar and Nootrukku Nooru. She is also acting in the Malayalam films Pokkiri Raja and Brahmani. Sneha can be seen glamorously in these films.

Questins about Priyamani glamour roles and bikini dress

Priyamani while speaking to the media said,” Many are asking me why I am acting in glamour roles wearing bikini dress. All mixed together is acting. You cannot tell it is vulgar if one reduces the dress.

If you wear modern dress, this itself is glamour. Right from Aishwarya Rai to Bipasha had acted wearing swim suits. If I act in glamour roles, people are asking that why I am not acting in village roles.

In those days popular actresses like Saroja Devi to Padmini have acted in glamour and village roles. Characters will be according to the story. I can do any kind of role. The Tamil film Nadodigal is being remade in Telugu with the title Sambo Siva Sambo.

I am acting in three Telugu films including this one. I am also acting in one Kannada film.”

Sheela while speaking to the media said,” In Tamil films I got homely and innocent roles. Though these films did not do well at the box office I had carved a niche for myself in the hearts of my fans.

 

At this point the Telugu film Parugu was a great turning point in my career. After this I am pairing with junior NTR in a Telugu film directed by V V Vinayak. In another film I am acting ia film which has Nayanthara in the lead role. I am donning glamour role in this film. In a song sequence I am wearing swimming dress.

The shooting of this film is over. The film is to hit the screens soon. Many are asking me  whether I will do glamour roles in Tamil films. How can I say no when I am acting in glamour roles in Telugu films. In Malayalam film I am pairing with Prithviraj.”

Vasundra scared of water

Vasundra said that acting in Peraanmai was a new experience for her. While speaking to the media she said.” Most of the shooting of Peranmai took place in the dense forests.

Since I had the experience in trekking I did not find it difficult to climb the mountains. But I am scared of water. So acting in water scenes I was little careful. Another four heroines acted with me in this film. But there were no problem between us.

There was news that I had difference of opinion with director Jananathan. I was not well one day during the shooting. I had come back after informing the director. False news was spread regarding this. There is no problem between us.

Talks are going on with regard to me acting in two films. Many are asking me whether I will act in glamour roles. I don’t mind acting in such roles if the story demands.”
