Anuya says no to Thalainagaram
Anuya donned the glamour role in the film Siva Manasula Sakthi and after this she stunned the audience by donning the role of a police officer in the Harikumar starrer Madurai Sambhavam.
After this she had gone in exile for some time. But now she is back to pair with Sundar C in the film titled Nagaram Marupakkam.
She is donning the role of a middle class working girl.
When asked her,” This film is the sequel to the film Thalainagaram, Are you donning the role of Jyothirmayee in which she did in Thalainagaram?” Hearing this she was shocked and said,” No No.

Boss Engira Baskaran movie director Rajesh M speaks to media
Rajesh M is directing a film titled Boss Engira Baskaran after his hit film Siva Manasula Sakthi. Recently he gave an interview to the media. Is this a romantic film?
Yes. This story happens in Kumbakonam.Arya is one of the member in a big family. He is a free bird. His character name is Baskaran but his friends call him boss. He has a deep love for the college student Nayanthara. ‘ Nan Kadavul’ Rajendran is donning the villain role while Panchu Arunachalam’s son Subbu is doing an important role. Santhanam’s comedy will be the highlight of the film. Why are you making a romantic story for the second time?In my first film Siva Manasula Sakthi, there were ego problems between the lovers. That film is a fully romantic oriented film. But my second film is not like that. This film has family sentiments and humor. In between there will also be romance. We have given importance to Arya’s lifestyle and his family.
Nayanthara looks homely in this film?
Whenever you mention Nayanthara, only glamour comes into one’s mind. But she has excelled in homely roles in Ayya, Chandramukhi and Yaaradi Nee Mohini. In the similar way she has donned the family girl role in this film. In the recent films she did the roles of a modern girl but this film will be a change for her.
It seems Nayan has done comedy in this film?
There is no separate track for comedy in this film. It comes along with the scenes itself. Arya and Santhanam’s comedy will be really delightful. For the first time Nayanthara has also done comedy in this film. This will be new for the audience and her fans. But her comedy will be along with the story.
About the technicians?
Sakthi Saravanan is handling the camera. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music. I will be completing the talkie portions soon. The composing of the music for the songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja is going on. The songs have to be shot once it is ready.
About the release?
We will complete the shooting by end of this month. The film Madrasapattinam which has Arya in the lead is being released on 14th April. After this Boss Engira Bhaskaran will be released

Nayathara is not done glamorous role is Boss Engira Baskaran
Boss Engira Baskaran team has been camping in Trichy, Thanjavur and Kumbakonam where the major portion of the film is being shot. However, the director of BEB, Rajesh, who had directed Siva Manasula Sakthi, says that the film will move on to Chennai too and few scenes will be shot in the city. The director said that he aims to provide a family entertainer that has ample scope for comedy, romance and sentiment. He adds that Nayanthara will sport the girl next door look in the film and will not don glamorous outfits, as like in her earlier films.

Jeeva's Kacheri Aarambam movie's music director Imman
The last time we saw him was in the romantic-comedy Siva Manasula Sakthi and now, Jiiva is gearing to give a racy masala.
Jiiva and Poonam Bajwa will star in Kacheri Aarambam, directed by Thiraivanan who is interestingly said to be an ex-associate of Seeman, Boopathy Pandian and Selvabharathi.
The movie will be for his home banner by dad R.B. Choudary. For a change, music director Imman will step in front of the camera for the first time, sharing screen space with Jiiva and Poonam in a song 'Kadavule Kadavule'.
Kacheri Aarambam is the story of a villager who shifts to town in search of a job and finally settles to work in the shop of his friend Vadivelu. The crux of the story lies in the struggles of the hero.

Boss Engira Baskaran packed with humour
Success has not changed filmmaker Rajesh. The 'Siva Manasula Sakthi' director, who is currently directing Arya and Nayantara for 'Boss Engira Baskaran', would speak with no airs and graces whenever he finds time.
He spoke to us from the sets of 'BEB', throwing light on the film and its artistes. "Boss Engira Baskaran too will be packed with humour. But the dosage will be limited. It would be a film for the whole family, quite like 'Varusham 16'. You could feel the freshness right from the beginning till end."
On the highlights of the film, he said, "Everything is a highlight in the movie. From Arya playing a bubbly youth to Nayantara's reentry to Santhanam's performance, everything will be a highlight. Sakthi Saravanan's cinematography, Yuvan Shankar Raja's music and Na Muthukumar's lyrics are other assets. Adding more flavour to all these things is the script."
Asked him about roping in Arya for the lead role, he said, "I and Arya were friends ever since he did a cameo in 'SMS'. I narrated him the storyline and he was impressed by it. Producer K S Srinivasan, who wanted to do a film with Arya again after 'Naan Kadavul', readily came forward to produce the movie."
On Nayantara, he said, "Seeing her talking fluently in Tamil is a pleasure. Her role in this film would take her to further heights. You can see a new Nayantara in 'BEB', wearing paavadai and thaavani."
When we asked Rajesh to spill some beans on the storyline, he said with a smile, "I don't want to break the suspense. Wait till the movie's release to know more."

Anuya going for the footsteps of Trisha and Shriya
The current trend is for our South Indian starlets to pack their bags and head to Mumbai. Anuya, who had a hit with Siva Manasula Sakthi and an average success with Madurai Sambhavam, seems to be following the footsteps of Trisha, Shriya, Padmapriya and a few others.
“Right now I have not signed on any South Indian film. I am having a blast working for a dance based reality show on Sun TV. I have been getting a few good offers in Hindi, and am waiting for the right opportunity to come. That does not mean I will not act in the South, but I will not do movies where I don't have scope to act,”insists Anuya.
