Shruthi feels good for act with Suriya

Shruthi is the film heir of Kamal Haasan.  Shruthi who started her journey by singing the song Potripadadi Ponne in the film Devar Magan continued to act in a small role in Hey Ram. Producers after seeing this tried to make her act in their films. But she refused to act.
Recently she did the female lead role in the Hindi film Luck. Though this film did not do well at the box office, her acting was much appreciated. Because of this people were forcing her to act. But somehow she managed to give a slip. Finally she gave her willingness to act in Telugu film in which she will be pairing with Siddarth.
Now she will be acting in a Tamil film which is to be directed by A R Murugadoss. While speaking about this, she said,” I who have been introduced in Hindi and Telugu films will be coming to Tamil films now. I am pairing with Surya.

I think the chemistry between us will work out well. Apart from this I like Surya very much. I am very much interested to work with him.  Moreover I am overjoyed because A R Murugadoss is directing this film. Acting is in my blood. I am very much interested to act with involvement. In Telugu film I did the role of a gypsy girl. I like the gypsy role very much so I acted with involvement.”

Kamal Haasan is considered one of Tamil cinema’s most prized possessions, but for some reason or the other, his beautiful daughter Shruthi Haasan picked Bollywood to make her screen debut. It’s not that she has ruled out Tamil cinema; it’s just that the starlet has not been offered a worthwhile role down South, sources close to her reveal. Well, that just might be a thing of the past now, because we hear that there is a good chance she will play the lead in Prabhu Deva’s next. The actor-director, who is currently busy acting in Thankar Bachan’s Kalavadia Pozhuthugal, will be joining hands with Jayam Ravi in his next acting venture. This untitled film is said to be set on foreign shores and Shruthi is considering making it her Kollywood debut. But till she signs on the dotted line, you never know!

Slimming first, bulking next: Shruthi Haasan

http://www.thefaceofsouthindia.com/wp-content/uploads/southcinema/Shruthi-Hassan-tattoo.jpg

Shruthi Haasan, Kamal Haasan's multi-talented beautiful daughter, is taking cautious steps in her acting career. Given her very unique charm and obvious self-confidence, she has been floored with offers ever since the film fraternity discovered she had acting dreams! Her acting debut Luck was not exactly the best launch pad – the movie flopped, but the actress did manage to prove her mettle. Not wanting another bad movie to her name, she had decided to select her next project with caution. While a Kollywood debut remains elusive, the actress is readying for her second Hindi flick and then a Tollywood debut. However, her role in the Hindi movie requires her to shed weight and hence she is starving and exercising in a bid to get to size zero! But soon after the Hindi movie shoot is done, she will be busy adding adipose tissue, because, the Telugu movie requires a generously curvaceous girl!

Telugu calling Shruthi Haasan

Shruthi Haasan’s introduction to the Telugu audience was in the form of a video song. And it was for the promotion of the Telugu version of her dad’s film ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’.

Later, the starlet was again in news when she was signed for a project with Prakash Kovelamudi, son of K. Raghavendra Rao, for his next starring Siddharth. The latest we hear about the girl is that she has got another hot offer from the Telugu Desam. Shruthi will be sharing the screen with Ramcharan Teja.

It is learnt that Shruthi is playing a role in director Bhaskar’s film ‘Orange’. Scenes involving Shruthi will be shot in the schedule that will go on from November 30th to December 15th in Mumbai.

According to the sources, she will be seen in the flashback part of the film. We can take it as a good chance for Shruthi. The budding star can expect wonders to work if she gets recognition for her performance. Now though the diva does not know Telugu much, she is daring to do Tollywood projects.

Jayam Ravi joins Prabhu Deva

http://icdn.indiaglitz.com/tamil/news/ravi061109_1.jpg

Prabhu Deva, who is gearing up to direct a Tamil film with 'Jayam' Ravi in the lead, has zeroed in on a title for his project. If sources close to the choreographer-filmmaker are to be believed, the film has been named 'Paris'.

A romantic entertainer, the movie to be produced by Kalpathi S Agoram will go on floors soon. Buzz is that Prabhu Deva is keen on casting Nayantara as the heroine for the movie.

However, sources also maintain that attempts are being made to rope in Shruthi Haasan as the heroine. ‘Jayam’ Ravi, who acted with top heroines like Asin, Trisha, Genelia and Tamannah has not shared the screen with either Nayantara or Shruthi so far.

Ravi is all thrilled as his 'Peranmai' has made it big at the box-office. He is currently shooting for his 'Thillalangadi' (a remake of Telugu hit 'Kick') at quick pace.
