Murugadoss ready for Suriya-Shruthi

Murugadoss has completed the script for his film starring Suriya and Shruthi Haasan and is fully ready to go for the first schedule of shooting. It will be only Suriya and Shruthi Haasan who will participate in the first schedule.
According to sources close to Suriya, the team will fly to China for the first schedule and two songs will be picturised in that. One is a duet featuring the lead actors Suriya and Shruthi and the second song will feature Shruthi and 50 dancers.
The unit is gearing for the trip and before they board the plane Murugadoss is expected to announce the title of the film.

Shruthi says difficult to act in comedy scenes since

Shruthi who had acted in Indira Vizha and Nan Avan Illai Part 2 while speaking to the media said,” The shooting of Guru Shishyan has been completed. This film will break my glamour image.

I have acted glamorously only in the song sequences. I am wearing only saree and churidhar throughout the film. Since this is a full length comedy film, I am able to bring out my comedy acting skill.

It is very difficult to act in comedy scenes since timing is very important. Next I am acting in a Kannada film titled Aadu Atta Adu. I am pairing with Jagadish. This film is a remake of the Tamil film Thiruttu Payale. I am doing the role which Sonia Agarwal did in Tamil.

I am getting lot of offers from Telugu film industry. But I waiting for roles which has less glamour with good story.”

Shruthi Haasan comes to Tamil cinema

Kamal Haasan is considered one of Tamil cinema’s most prized possessions, but for some reason or the other, his beautiful daughter Shruthi Haasan picked Bollywood to make her screen debut. It’s not that she has ruled out Tamil cinema; it’s just that the starlet has not been offered a worthwhile role down South, sources close to her reveal. The actor-director, who is currently busy acting in Thankar Bachan’s Kalavadia Pozhuthugal, will be joining hands with Jayam Ravi in his next acting venture. This untitled film is said to be set on foreign shores and Shruthi is considering making it her Kollywood debut. But till she signs on the dotted line, you never know!
