Kalpathi S Agoram of AGS Entertainment and his Kantha Kottai releasing on December 19 has decided to take on Sun Pictures, Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Vettaikaran’s hitting the theatres on December 18!
It has sent shock waves as AGS Entertainment was considered close to Sun Pictures especially after they made Masilamani, a success. The trade says almost across Tamil Nadu nearly 350 screens will have Vettaikaran, which is being marketed aggressively.But AGS is almost certain to go ahead and release Kantha Kottai which has Nakul and Poorna in the lead. They feel there is always a market for a second film which actually can piggy ride on the bigger film especially in theatre complexes in the state.
