Naadodigal fame Ananya is very busy

The Naadodigal girl Ananya has bagged a role in Kandahar. The film is to be directed by Major Ravi and is based on the Indian flight hijack to Afghanistan. Kandahar has Mohanlal in the lead role. Also, the Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has been signed up to play an important character. Ananya will be sharing the screen space with the two legends of the Indian cinema.
Ananya is currently busy shooting for other films, and will begin work for Kandahar once her present commitments are over.

Naadodigal remake in Bollywood

After initial hiccups, looks like Naadodigal is finally on its way to be remade in Hindi. Latest news claims that production company Woodpecker Pictures & Entertainment bought the rights of the film from Global Infotainment.

Priyadarshan will direct the Hindi version of Naadodigal; the title and other details of the movie are expected to be officially announced soon. It’s also learnt that the movie will hit the screens for Diwali this yea

Ananya joins Dhanush

Even as the countdown has started for the release of Dhanush’s ‘Kutty’, a buzz in film circles is that Ananya of ‘Naadodigal’ fame will act opposite the actor in one of his forthcoming movies.

The film, tentatively titled ‘Seedan’, will be directed by Subramaniam Siva. “The son-in-law of the Superstar and the ‘Yogi’ director are waiting for the release of ‘Kutty’. They would start their next project on seeing the result of the Pongal release,” say sources.

Working with Subramaniam Siva is not new for Dhanush. Both delivered the blockbuster ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ a few years ago and the rapport between the actor and the filmmaker is very good, it is learnt.

‘Seedan’ is expected to be the story of a city-based youth whose life takes twists and turns after a series of incidents. How he overcomes everything with the help of a man whom he thinks as his mentor is the crux, it is said.
