Trisha has tweeted about Manmathan Ambu movie

It seems Trisha had enough of running around trees and doing half baked masala commercial movies. The actress for the first time loved every moment of doing Manmathan Ambu, with Kamal Hassan.

Trisha had tweeted: “This has been such a wonderful journey withManmathan Ambu, family. I can’t believe it’s almost over. My guru aka the incredible Mr.K (Kamal Haasan) has taught me so much! He knows everything about everything in this work field, such an amazing experience getting to work with him, owe a lot to my director KSR.”

Now the latest we hear is that the actress who has re-invented herself as far as her career is concerned has flown to Hyderabad. She is on a “hush hush” mission, to hear a story narration from the man who made her a star M S Raju, Telugu producer.

Remember MS Raju has given Trisha two memorable blockbusters Nuvvosthante Nendodantanna and Varsham? Raju is now going to make a woman centric commercial film and wants Trisha to play the all important female lead. The buzz is that Trisha is keen to do the film at any cost.

Kamal Hassan teaches Actress Trisha

Trisha is having a whale of a time with the Manmadhan Ambu (MMA) crew in one of her favourite places in the world. The pretty lass who is currently in France for the shooting of MMA is on cheese-based diet to keep herself warm in an otherwise cold country. She even visited a 16th century church with Kamal Hassan and a few crew members on Sunday and had a good time there.

A normally self-confined Trisha, learnt how to clap the electronic clapboard which she learnt from her favourite actor Kamal Hassan. Though she found it tough, she seems to have thoroughly enjoyed her new role as a clap girl. “Mr. K made me handle the electronic clapboard yesterday. Learnt that a lot of competence is needed even for a job people think is so small,” was her comment on Twitter. Seems this humble disciple has learnt a lot from her Guru.

Shruti: Smart girl from smart dad

Daughter dear of Kamal says that music is her everything in life. The smart daughter of Kamal is geared-up to rock us with her unique voice through the Live Martini band this time.
Shruthi is a happy girl right now with good offers. Going to music school, meeting the amazing teachers learning Hindustani classical and lot more interesting stuffs are making her a busy bee.
When asked about her passion towards music and if she is interested to show it in Tamil she said, “Now-a-days, I have listened to some incredible numbers by vernacular rock bands. It’s so great to see our native languages being celebrated and revered. I would love to sing a vernacular rock song.”
Guess what she had to say if she will do the music for her dad’s next film as well? “I have no clue. You should ask this to my dad. I want him to come see Shruthi the musician and artiste, and not Shruthi, his daughter. I want the music to speak for itself,” she said by tossing her dimple smile over us.
Smart girl from smart dad, we say!

Kamal Hassan wants to remake Salangai Oli

http://www.topnews.in/files/Kamal-Hassan_2.jpg

He may be 55, but age has not waned his desire to give his all to cinema. Kamal Hassan, who completed 50 years in cinema, said in a recent interview that it was his desire to act in the remake of his super hit film Silangai Oli. Made in Telugu as Sagar Sangamam, the movie directed by K. Viswananth and starring Jayapradha was a huge hit. The classical dance theme of the movie and Kamal’s portrayal (as a dancer who sacrifices his life for the art) won him accolades. The movie, when dubbed in Tamil as Silangai Oli, repeated the same success as in Telugu.

Talking about the film, Kamal said that if any director wished to remake the film, he was ready to essay the same role once again. He said that he may be 55, but he is still ready to do a film like that.

We have no doubts that he would still sizzle as a dancer at 55, as he did decades ago.
