Harris Jayaraj is Busy with his upcomming projects

Kollywood's prominent music director Harris Jayaraj is on a roll. The musician is currently busy with a series of projects: Ram Charan Tej-Genelia starrer Orange, K.V. Anand's Ko, Prabhu Deva's Ich (starring Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani), Suriya-A.R. Murugadoss' 7Aum Arivu and the Hindi remake of Khakka Khakka, starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.

"The music of 3 Idiots will be done simultaneously in two languages (Tamil and Telugu). We are hoping to release the audio of Ko by October. But Ich and Orange will be out by next month," he tweeted. "A full-fledged English track was recorded for Ich today with Emce Jayze, Kriss and Renaina. Hope it works for the film," he added.

Harris Jayaraj likes Angaadi Theru movie songs

Kollywood's leading music director Harris Jayaraj has twittered that he likes the song Aval Appadi Onrum Azhaghiyillay... sung by Ranjith, Vineeth Srineevas, Janaki Iyer and tuned by Vijay Antony from Angaadi Theru.

Harris also saw the Vasanthabalan film and said: “I would like to congratulate the entire team for coming up with such a brilliant movie, which is path breaking in many ways.”

Asin in Kakka Kakka Bollywood remake

Asin has bagged an offer to star in the Hindi remake of Kakka Kakka. This Tamil film, which had Suriya and Jyothika as the lead pair, was a massive hit among the movie buffs. Filmmaker Vipul Shah had the rights to remake this film in Hindi and had been scouting for a suitable heroine to play Jyothika’s role. Finally, it is Asin’s luck that she has bagged the meaty role.

Bollywood star John Abraham will don Suriya’s role. The movie will be directed by Nishikanth Kamath.

The songs in Kakka Kakka, which were set to tune by Harris Jayaraj, turned out to be chartbusters. It is still unclear if Harris would be roped in for this project too.

Harris Jayaraj celebrates his birthday today

Harris Jayaraj celebrates his birthday today (January 8th)! The musician has had an eventful 2009 with all his songs turning out to be chartbusters. Starting from 2001 with Minnale, there was no looking back for Harris. He, in fact, stormed into Kollywood with Vaseegara in Minnale. It is worth a mention here that the songs that he composed for Ayan and Aadhavan had topped the charts in 2009. We wishes Harris a very happy birthday and an even more successful 2010!
