Rajini's Enthiran movie Telugu rights sold for 30 crores

Telugu producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao (of Sri Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateshwara Films) has purchased the Telugu dubbing rights of superstar Rajinikanth's much-awaited fantasy flick Robot (Enthiran in Tamil), directed by Shankar for a whopping Rs. 30 crores, the highest price in India for the dubbing rights of any movie.

Sources say that producer Bellamkonda Suresh, who earlier distributed Rajinikanth-Shankar duo's Sivaji, quoted around 22 crores for Endhiran Telugu dubbing rights, while another two top producers quoted 23 cores and 26 crores respectively. However, they could not bag the film, since Robot producer Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures stood firm on his position to sell the flick for not less than Rs. 30 crores.

The audio of Robot was released on Friday at Hotel Taj Krishna, Hyderabad. Megastar turned politician Chiranjeevi released the audio CD and presented the first copy to Rajinikanth. The trailer was released by Mohan Babu. The music is composed by A.R. Rahman. Lyricist Bhuvana Chandra, Suddala Ashok Teja and Vanamali have penned the lyrics for the Telugu version.
