Tamil Movie Angadi Theru will be dubbed in Telugu
Director Vasanthabalan's much acclaimed Tamil film Angadi Theru, starring debutant Mahesh and Anjali in the lead, which has crossed 100 days in theatres, will be dubbed in Telugu. The dubbing process is progressing now in Kodandapati Studios, Chennai and the plan is to release the movie in August.
Notably, Angadi Theru collected more than Rs. 15 crores in Tamil. It was released as a small film with a limited budget and went onto become a huge blockbuster. The film revolves around Jyothi Lingam (Mahesh), who leads a happy life in his village near Tirunelveli. Tragedy strikes his life as his father, the only earning member, dies in an accident. The young boy now has to look after his mother and two sisters.
He abandons his studies. Through a canvassing agent, he and his friend Marimuthu get jobs as sales boys in a textile showroom in Ranganathan Street in Chennai. Mahesh, along with hundreds of others, are employed at the Senthil Murugan Stores, where they are forced to work in pitiable conditions from early in the morning to late night...
