Nanayam joins Pongal race

Suddenly the Pongal release window is getting crowded. More and more films are entering the fray.

The latest entrant is SPB Charan produced Nanayam featuring Prasanna, Sibiraj and directed by Sakthi K Rajan.
Charan and his Capital Film Works has gone ahead announced release date of Nanayam which is censored with an ‘UA’ certificate as January 14, and has also given a theatre listing!
As of today (Dec 31), there are five films in the Pongal fray- Aayirathil Oruvan, Kutty, Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam and new entrants Angadi Theru & Nanayam.
The theatres in Tamil Nadu will have a tough time charting out show time for all these films.
