Cloud Nine acquires Suriya's Raktha Charithram

Suriya’s first multilingual movie has already created high waves in tinsel town. In fact, the actor has gained more appreciations and fans have started following him in Bollywood as well. The latest we hear is that Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Productions have acquired the rights of the film’s Tamil version titled ‘Rattha Charithram’.

It’s noteworthy that Dayanidhi Azhagiri commenced his career as a producer obtaining the rights of Suriya’s ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’. The duo was successful together and now they’re back for this film.

‘Rattha Charithram’ will be released in Telugu and Hindi as ‘Raktha Charithra’ in Part 1 & 2. Suriya performs the role of Bengali gangster Suri, who hatches plans to kill his opponent, Parithala Ravi – Andhra based gangster turned politician.

The film is based on real life incidents of rivalry that existed between Ravi and Suri. Ram Gopal Varma has directed the film and it will get released in October.
