Actor Dhanush is indeed a Blackhorse in Tamil film industry. All his previous films have done tremendous business at box office and has turned to be the favorite of all producers and distributors.

According to the trade analysts, the films of Dhanush are doing good business in circles as he has got audiences from all over the centre. Be it small kid or middle-aged women, the actor easily sweeps them off with this boy-to-next door looks.

Especially, he looks so simple and yet charming in ‘Kutty’ and this could be one perfect reason why the film will have a warm welcome amongst the audiences.

As blabbered around hundred times, this film is a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster ‘Arya’.

Shreya has attempted her best not to wear skimpy costumes (though somehow she shows her hips with short half-saris). Anyhow, let’s hope for the best from this actress. The film hasn’t’ got a complicated motif and it’s so simple where the hero proposes his belle, who’s actually in love with another guy due to compelling.

Devi Sri Prasad’s musical has been termed as an average fare in audio markets as most of the songs have been tuned in typical Telugu style.

Cinematography will be a promising visual treat for the audiences as the trailers itself reveal it.

The film is produced by Gemini Film Circuit and their previous film ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ in collaboration with Sun Pictures was adjudged as a passable show. Since, there was some problems pertaining to this film, Sun Pictures has walked out of ‘Kutty’.

Nayan and Sneha to be banned

Nayanthara and Sneha could be banned from the Telugu film industry for not participating in the star night organized for flood relief work. Since both the stars are leading actresses in Tollywood they were expected to be present during the occasion. Actor Balakrishna had sent a notice to Nayan and Sneha asking them to explain the circumstances for not attending the star night. The ladies are expected to provide a proper answer failing which they will be banned from Tollywood.

It is worth a mention here that Tamil film stars Rajinikanth, Suriya, Radha Ravi and others were present at the show to show their solidarity.

Spandana collects Rs. 5.27 crores

Tollywood's musical star night ‘Spandana’, organized by the film fraternity on November 7 at Gachibowli stadium, Hyderabad to raise funds for contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund towards the flood affected victims in the state, has collected over Rs. 5.27 crores, the organisers informed.

Tamil actor Suriya donated Rs. 10 lakh, while Radha Ravi donated Rs. 5 lakh on behalf of South Indian Film Artists' Associationon (SIFAA). Dasari Narayana Rao donated Rs. 5.28 lakh. The amount has been handed over to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rosaiah as a cheque.

Having featured South India's leading actors like Rajinikanth, Suriya, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, NTR Jr., Ravi Teja, Ram, Nitin, Ileana, Hansika, Bhumika, Tarun, Saikumar, Prakashraj, Murali Mohan, Rama Naidu, Raghavendra Rao, Jamuna, Geetanjali, Khaveri Jha, Mohan Babu and Roja, the event commenced with the rendering of the Spandana’s special song.

Shriya, Allu Arjun, Mamta Mohandas, Siddarth, Genelia and others gave live dance performances, while music directors Koti, M.M. Keeravani, Chakri, Mani Sharma, Raj Kumar, Vandemataram Srinivas, Taman, Mickey J. Mayer, Devi Sri Prasad and S.P. Balasubramanyam enthralled the audience with their songs.
