Ashok Kumar is doing the lead role. Richa Palod and Aarthi were announced as heroines. But now in a statement it has been said the Richa Palod will not act in this film and Aarthi will do her role. When asked Sujith who is directing this film, he said,” Initially we signed Richa.
But she was not able to give the dates that we requested. So in order to avoid the delay of the film we had decided to cast the other heroine Aarthi Kaithan in this role. The role which was supposed to be done by Aarthi Kaithan is being done by a new face Preethi.”
Richa said,” In Tamil I am acting in one Tamil film titled Nalvaravu. I am getting some offers in Tamil cinema but I am not accepting them. I am busy in Telugu films. I will act in a film which gives importance to heroine roles only.”
