Singam Puli movie shooting has completed

Known for carefully choosing his films, Jiiva is venturing into a dual role (hero and villain) for the first time in Singam Puli directed by debutant Sai Ramani. The actor's versatility was evident in E, Raam, Katradu Tamizh and Pori. Divya Spandana pairs with Jiiva for the first time in Singam Puli, with comedian Santhanam in a prominent role. The latest buzz is that the film has wrapped up its shooting recently and the post-production is on. The music launch will take place in Chennai soon.

Divya: I am getting into controversies because of my frank talk

Divya is acting with Jeeva in Singam Puli and with Arya’s brother Sathya in the film Kadhal to Kalyanam. She got into conflict with the choreographer during the shooting of a Kannada film.

In another incident during a film function she refused to apologize for coming late and in the same function she lambasted the media people. Recently she adversely commented about the film Kadhal to Kalyanam in which she is acting in the Twitter.

The film unit is unhappy about this. Divya is continuously getting into controversies. While speaking about this, she said,” I don’t have the habit of hiding anything. I will speak any matter frankly whether it is in the family or work spot. Some people don’t like this. I am not worried about this.

I will always be with positive thoughts. I will not keep quite if somebody tries to quarrel with me. Currently I am acting in three Kannada films. I am going to South Africa to cheer the Indian cricket team who participate in the Champion League matches.”

Dhanush & Divya shares very good friendship

Even three years after they acted together in ‘Polladhavan’, Dhanush and Divya Spandana share a very good friendship. And they are in constant touch with her, thanks to the modes of communication the modern world has in store.

Recently, the actress tweeted on her micro-blogging page that she shot for a wedding scene in one of her upcoming films. She wrote on her profile that she didn’t know how many times she has been married (in movies).

Reacting to this, Dhanush, who is very active on internet and regularly replies to almost all the tweets he get, said, “You got married??!! Lol! Wish you a happy married life and my condolences to the boy.”

Tweeting back wittily, Divya Spandana said, “You didn’t marry me in ‘Polladhavan’, so I got married in this one. Kedi!!! I will keel you! Whoever marries me is the most fortunate, blessed and luck person! Poda!” Long live their friendship!

Divya Spandana with non-stop phone calls

A stalker, according to Divya Spandana, has been giving her a tough time with non-stop phone calls and ‘stupid messages’. Following this, the actress has sought the help of her fellow microbloggers to put an end to the menace.

“I need your help. The guy from this no *********** is stalking me. Calls me at the unearthly hours. Sends me stupid messages. Could you’ll teach him a thing or two in decency?” the actress wrote on her microblogging page.

When her fellow netizens suggested she block the number, the ‘Kuthu’ and ‘Varanam Aayiram’ actress replied: “I can’t block. Can’t change my no again cos I will have to reconnect and then invariably they do get my no.”

She added: “Police complaint will only make it a bigger issue. He won’t answer. Gotten a number just to trouble me I guess.” Meanwhile, the Sandalwood actress will soon come to Chennai to shoot a couple of songs of ‘Kadhal 2 Kalyanam’, a film which has Arya’s rother Sathya in the lead.

Jeeva's role in Singam Puli movie

Jeeva is donning play boy role in Singam Puli. While speaking about this, he said,” Sai Ramani who was the assistant of director Jananathan is directing the film Singam Puli. Divya and Soundarya are pairing with me. For the first time I am acting in dual role.

One of the roles is a fisherman and the other one is play boy. This film will be different from all my other films. One of the roles is villain. Who is the villain will be known only in the climax. The shooting is going on in Kovalam. Only 15 days shooting is remaining. The next schedule of Ko is to commence on 24thof this month. The shooting of Roudram took place for 15 days. The next schedule of this film commence once Singam Puli has been completed.”

Divya busy with Kannada and Tamil films in her kitty

Divya Spandana’s foray into the Tamil film industry was with Kuthu. The lady went on to establish herself more firmly with the Dhanush starrer Polladhavan and is now busy with several Kannada and Tamil films in her kitty.

Apart from acting, which she had made as her career, Divya seems to have an avocation that she considers dear. Yes, Divya Spandana is actively involved in social networking. The star, in fact, had selected about 50 fans through the social network to participate at her birthday bash that is to be held on November 29th.
