Shruthi Hassan says ‘7am Arivu’ is amazing

Multifaceted personality Shruthi Hassan is all thrilled about playing the heroine of ‘7am Arivu’, the Suriya starrer directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies.

“Acting in 7am Arivu is one of the most amazing experiences in my career so far. It is a mind blowing script by Murugadoss and the way he shoots it, is exciting”, says the music composer-singer-actress.

Adding more, she says, “The director is clear about what he wants and he extracts it from us without any compromise. Thanks to him and other members of the team, the film is shaping up in a great way”.

On her co-star Suriya, Shruthi says, “He is a wonderful actor and ensures that everyone who works with him feel comfortable”. Remember it was Suriya who first rushed to Shruthi’s help when she injured on the sets of ‘7am Arivu’ a couple of months ago.

Shruthi Hassan: I am happy to act in a Tamil movie

Even as director A R Murugadoss and producer Udhayanidhi Stalin are getting ready to formally announce their forthcoming venture with Suriya, heroine of the movie Shruthi Haasan has said she is excited to be part of the project.
“I am a great admirer of Suriya. And am quite excited about acting with him,” says the actress-musician, who is the daughter of ace actor Kamal Haasan. “It would be premature to comment on the story. But I am thrilled at the opportunity,” she says.
Delighted about making her foray into Tamil cinema as an actress, Shruthi says, “Chennai is where my heart is. Because this is my dad’s place and I grew up here. So I am happy to act in a Tamil movie.”
To a question if she was looking at cinema as a full- time career option? Shruthi answered by saying, “Certainly. My experiences in movies have been wonderful so far, so I’m looking forward to so much more. At the same time, I would like to clarify that I would like to shine in both fields- acting and music.”

A R Murugadoss joins Kamal haasan

Blockbuster director A R Murugadoss will get the opportunity to direct India’s most admired actor, Padma Shri Kamal Haasan.

According to sources, Kamal had invited Murugadoss to his office for a small meeting where Kamal had showcased clippings of his ‘Marudhanayagam’, seeing which Murugadoss was stunned by the excellent direction of Kamal Haasan.

Murugadoss was stunned even more when Kamal had asked him to make a movie with him. Sources say Kamal has told Murugadoss to take a lot of time to work on an excellent script. With the ‘Ulaga Nayagan’ himself approaching Murugagoss, there is no doubt whatsoever on the trust he has on the talented director.

Kamal is currently working for ‘Yavarum Kelir’ with K.S.Ravikumar and Murugadoss working with Suriya and Shruthi Haasan. With time on his side, Murugadoss will no doubt, dream up an excellent script for Kamal Haasan. Watch out for this space for more updates!
