Vijay has planned to release Devamagan on April month

Director Vijay debuted as a director through the film Kireedom which had Ajith in the lead role. He got the status of one of the leading directors after directing the film Madrasapattinam. He is now directing a film titled Devamagan which has Vikram in the lead role. The story of this film is about a father who struggles for his seven year old daughter. Vikram is donning the role of a mentally retarded person while Anushka dons the role of an attorney who supports Vikram.

Amala Paul is also donning an important role in this film. Director Vijay has planned to release this film during the month of April. He also mentioned that the title of the film Devamagan is under consideration and also can be changed.
