Coimbatore district administration refused for 7am Arivu shooting

The Coimbatore district administration refused to give permission for shooting of Suriya’s forthcoming film 7am Arivu. Director AR Murugadoss planned to shoot the film near check dam surrounded by a forest. But the Coimbatore administration said no for the shoot followed by the protest raised by environmental activists.

Sources reveal that the unit has erected huge sets similar to a palace near the check dam, near by reserve forest. The activists raised protest that the shooting will be polluting the Siruvani River as the material used for the set was plaster of paris. Moreover the location selected by the director is a place where many birds and animals survive in the same place.

The district collector of Coimbatore P.Umanath refused to give the permission for the shoot and asked the unit to remove the lavish sets on the river side with immediate course action.
