Mankatha movie last schedule in chennai on February

The work on Thala Ajith's 50th film Mankatha, director Venkat Prabhu, is in full swing. The crew completed its first schedule in Bangkok and second schedule in Chennai recently. The Mankatha team is currently erecting a set in Chennai which looks like Dharavi in Mumbai. The third and the final schedule will begin in Chennai in February.

Another interesting fact is that one of Mahakavi Bharathiyar's great grandsons, Niranjan Bharathi, has penned lyrics for the album of Mankatha along with Vaali and Venkat Prabhu's father Gangai Amaran. The audio launch is likely to be in March and the film is expected to hit screens on May 1, 2011.
