Kaavalan Music review

Vijay-Vidyasagar have always rocked the charts (remember Gilli and Villu)! And now, music director Vidyasagar is back with the music of Vijay's Kaavalan, directed by Siddique.

'Pattambuchi' is a fast paced situational song rendered by Rita and KK. It is a feel good number and the drum beat throughout the song is interesting. The music reminds us of some latest Bollywood hits.

'Sada Sada' is a solo number rendered by Karthik. The song is a fast paced romantic number in typical Vidyasagar style, a beautiful blend of rhythms and lyrics.

'Step It Up' is a fast paced dance number sung by Benny Dayal and Megha. As you may have already guessed, the song will have Vijay dancing to some racy tunes. The English lyrics and fast beats gives a western touch to the song.

Tippu and Swetha have crooned the meaningful 'Vinnai Kappan'. Though the song reminds us of Vidyasagar's earlier compositions, its fast paced drum beat makes it unique and interesting.

'Yaarathu' is a melodious number rendered by Karthik and Suchithra. Looks like the song will appear when the hero gets lots of anonymous call from a girl who claims to be in love with him.

Overall, the album has a couple of melody-infused fast paced songs which will be a treat to listen to.
