A success press meet was arranged at ITC Park Sheraton on Wednesday afternoon by the Mynaa team, and later in the night a big party was thrown for the cast and crew.
It was praises all the way at the meet, as speaker after speaker heaped praises on Prabhu Solomon for his deft direction and presentation.
The lead actors Vidharth, Amala Paul, Thambi Ramaiah, Sudha and Sethu received critical acclaim for their performances. Cinematographer Sukumar was also lavishly praised by Prabhu for shooting the film in difficult terrains without using the tripod.
Another hero was D Imman and his soothing music, which played a crucial role in the success of the film. As Prabhu Solomon remarked: “Melodies are the highlight of the film and it played an important role in the overall packaging of the film including some terrific background score.”
Udhayanidhi Stalin in his speech said that film which opened in 160 screens will be increased by 40 more screens from the second week. Said Udhayanidhi: “The film is a visual treat and has left a mark in the minds of the audiences.”
Prabhu Solomon was ecstatic that he received a letter from Rajinikanth . Said Prabhu: “I have been getting a lot of praise for my work from my colleagues in the industry. What really moved me was when Rajinikanth sir said after watching the film, I wish I was a part of the film. It is a true Dravidian film and is meant for all people in TamilNadu.”
