Is Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan pregnant?

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, the heroine of ace director Maniratnam's just-released bilingual 'Raavan' and 'Raavanan', is said to be pregnant with her first child. Aishwarya, India's first international model, has made the transition from a ramp model to an actress in the smoothest of manners and has remained on top in Bollywood for close to a decade now.

Ever since she married Abhishek Bachchan, the couple has been one of India's keenly followed husband-wife personalities, with each of them having their own fan following across the globe.

Ash continued to act in films despite her marriage to Abhishek, son of Bollywood's 'superstar of the millennium' Amitabh Bachchan. After 'Raavanan', Ash has the biggest of all coming her way: Shankar's 'Enthiran: The Robot', in which she is paired up opposite superstar Rajnikanth for the first time. She also has a couple of Hindi films on hand, which are progressing steadily.

Ash, known for her tight-fitting garments and costumes, came in loose-fitting attire at the premiere show of her latest film 'Raavan' held in England recently. Ash is said to have preferred loose clothes so that her 'bump' remains hidden.

Despite her best efforts, her 'stomach' revealed it all, sources say. It is also said that very soon, Ash would officially make an announcement about her pregnancy. She is said to be telling her producers and close journalist friends that she would be taking a 'temporary break' from films from the time of release of Rajni's 'Enthiran' till the time of her delivery!
