Gopika becomes Mom

Hailing from Kerala, actress Gopika made her film debut I Tamil film 'Autograph'.

After that, she acted in films like 'En Magan', 'Kanaa Kandein' and 'Thotti Jaya'. In 2008, she married Ajilesh and settled with him in Ireland. She stopped acting in films after that, except for one Malayalam film that she completed. After getting pregnant, she stopped acting altogether.

Yesterday, Gopika got labour pains and was admitted to a hospital in Ireland, where she delivered a bouncing baby girl. Ajilesh distributed sweets to the hospital staff.

Gopika’s parents have gone to Ireland to see the baby. Gopika will come with husband and child to India in August.
