Akshaya Tritiya, considered to be an auspicious event for the Hindus to purchase gold and silver, is fast approaching and the shops are gearing to meet the customers’ demands. In fray this year is the popular jewel shop GRT Jewellers. The jewelers plan to launch the first ever platinum coin in India. Actress Gauthami received the first Platinum Coin from Mr. Ananthapadmanabhan, MD, GRT Jewellers.

During the launch she said, “Platinum is considered ‘auspicious’ and it is the purest of precious metals. I hope its specific vibrations will bring financial and spiritual prosperity for me.
