Venkat Prabhu direct Simbu not Ajith

Venkat Prabhu’s desire to direct Ajith may take some time, and so the director has now decided to make a film with Silambarasan in the lead, sources say. Earlier, there were reports that Silambarasan has been signed up to star in a film that is to be directed by Bhoopathy Pandian and produced by Lingusamy. But with Bhoopathy Pandian moving on to direct Vikram, Lingusamy decided to fill the vacuum with Venkat Prabhu.
The Kollywood buzz is that Tamannah has been roped in play the female lead in this venture.
With Venkat Prabhu deciding to wield the megaphone for this film, his plans to direct Ajith has been pushed to the back burner.
