Mumbai is my native place. After completing by education, I took up modeling. I won the Miss India title in 2007. After this I continue to act in advertisement films. Now it is cinema cinema.
What is your role in Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai?
I am doing the role of a fashion designing student from a middle class family. I innocently get trapped in Vishal’s love net. How I get cheated is the story.
You have acted with three heroines in the first film itself?
Yes. This is three heroine stories. But everyone has got equivalent roles. There is importance for all the heroines in the song and scenes.
Were there any ego problems among the heroines?
Neetu Chandra was my old friend. I know her right from the modeling days itself. She is my senior in my acting. In the shooting spots she use to give me a lot of tips about acting. That was useful to me. I have never seen Tanushree so far. I met her only in the shooting spot. We all three danced for a song. At that time we use to crack lot of jokes and laugh.
How was the shooting experience?
I have seen Hindi films shootings. I don’t know whether Hindi film shooting is good or Tamil films shootings are good. But Tamil film technicians work like a cyclone. We shot a duet song in New Zealand. Vishal is a talented actor. I am interested to act in Tamil films.
