One more song add in Asal movie
Sivaji Productions and director Saran have decided to add one more song to their recently released Ajith starrer Aasal (also spelt Asal). The song 'Yengay Yengay' penned by Vairamuthu and sung by S. P. Balasubramaniam was not featured in the film as the makers felt that it would distract the pace of the film, but due to the overwhelming response to the song, the makers have decided to include the same in the movie. Interestingly actor Ajith at the audio launch of Aasal said that 'Yengay Yengay' was his favourite song. The song expresses the inner strength and agony of a man. This song also has an interesting history in that when Saran asked Vairamuthu to write the lyrics he insisted that the words be such that while the visuals be centered around Ajith, when one listened to the song minus the video, it had to be an ode to Sivaji Ganesan. Saran added that the entire Sivaji family were moved to tears when they heard the number. Let's hope the video lives up to everyone's expectations
