Bharathiraja advised the students
Noted director Bharathiraja was the chief guest at a college in Madurai.
His advise to the student community was clear-“don’t worship our so called larger-than-life movie stars by doing Palabishekam' or Arathi'before the cut-outs and hoardings of their new films, whenever it is released".
Bharathiraja advised the students to have a practical outlook when they watch a film and not get carried away by the “so called Superstars”.
Says Bharathiraja: “By all means, go and watch movies in theatre and enjoy as Cinema is a good form of entertainment, but no star worship please.”
The veteran director confessed: "I was not educated, but I could still make films by observing the environment around me art will help to locate the unique talent of every person."
