The audio was released by K Balachader and received by veteran actress Sachu. Those attended the launch included Rama Narain, VC Guhanathan, Sivasakthi Pandian , Sarath Kumar , Chitralaya Gopu and Kalaignanam apart from writer Crazy Mohan and lead artistes of KKM, Karthik Kumar, Shikha and Anand Raj.
The trailer of the film was launched by Nadigar Sangam Chief Sarath Kumar. Two songs from the film were screened and one of them Oru Manam.. was to was shot in Jakarta.
Madhumitha, the director of KKM said: “It was the success of my first film that gave me the confidence to try out another film in a different genre. I don’t find any constraints being a woman in the industry as everyone is professional in their approach .”
K Balachander was envious that he had not kept the earlier title of Vallamai Tharayo for any of his films though he was a fan of Bharatiyar.
“I always wanted to meet the lady who had made that film with a title like that. I am confident that this comedy will do well and will set a new trend to the return of comedies in Tamil films. Selvaganesh too has a bright future. The three pillars of the film are the producer Trisakthi Sundararaman, Madhumitha and Crazy Mohan”, he said
The film is a treasure hunt and has 14 comedians in it while Karthik Kumar and Shikha ( from Kannada) play the lead roles. Vijay, Madhumitha’s husband has edited the film.
Says Crazy Mohan: “Jayaram has done one of my dream roles in this film which is a total family made production, made for family audiences!”.
