Sir Ben Kingsley joins Aishwarya Rai
Sir Ben Kingsley is rumored to direct the epic film Taj. However, the actor director, who is camping in Goa to take part in the International Film Festival of India, said that he has no intention of directing the film. He was quoted by the PTI as saying, “We have not yet decided the director for the film. The script has arrived four days ago. It’s a new script. I would not like to direct. I find it very difficult.”
He said that the script has been sent to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her approval and if she approves of it, then she will play Mumtaz in the film. Sir Kingsley adds, his wife, Brazilian star Daniela Lavender will play Shah Jahan’s first wife, Persian princess Kandahari Begum.
