Puzhal is inspired from Azhagu's own life

Azhagu who made films like Superda and Thathi Thavudhu Mansu is making a thriller titled Puzhal. The film has newcomers like Kumaran, Hemachandran, Mano, Archana and Aswatha play lead roles.

Says the director: “The story of Puzhal is inspired from my own life. As shooting inside Puzhal jail was not easy, we have decided to erect a set similar to it and shoot there”.
The story is about a bunch of graduates who faces hurdles when they start hunting for jobs and they end up in jail due to various circumstances. How they tackle their issues and come out with positive attitude forms the crux of the film.
