Even if Tamil cinema has a number of films to tell the story of campus life, Rajesh Lingam’s ‘Pugaipadam’ will show the actual college life and friendship. Produced by Manikandan of Boys Studios, the film is said to be sensational and original.
The film is now all set to hit the screen on January 1st as New Year treat. The youthful posters of the film have filled the streets of the state announcing the release date.
Looks like Venkat Prabhu, SPB Charan and ‘Eeram’ Arivazhagan had watched the movie recently. They all have appreciated Rajesh Lingam’s effort and commended ‘Pugaipadam’ as one of the best college films in Tamil. Veteran actor-director- producer Bhagiyaraj too liked the movie and said that the film shows college life with reality in a lively and refreshing way. On the other hand, Gangai Amaran's re-recording was praised by everyone alike as a magic.
