There is a good buzz around the Karthik Kumar- Aparna Nair thriller and love story Ethuvum Nadakkum . It is an experimental film directed by Mageswaran and Rozario.
The film is said to be around 95 minutes with no song or comedy. In the film Karthik Kumar plays a frustrated stage actor (remember that in real life, he is a part of Eevam, a theatre production company) with a nagging wife which drives him mad. He meets another girl (Aparna Nair) in a lonely house whom he mistakes for his wife and till something unexpected happens.Aparna Nair, a Mallu girl from Kochi and a stage actor is making her debut in the film. Aparna has performed in many stage shows with versatile superstars like Mammootty and Mohanlal.
Ethuvum Nadakkum is slated for release this Friday (Dec 4), and is a different type of film which may bring some freshness to Tamil cinema.
