Dhanush joins Genelia

The Dhanush-Genelia starrer went on floors today at a bungalow in the ECR. TR Varadarajan switched on the camera and Ram Kumar struck the clap board to mark the beginning of the shooting. The film is being directed by Mithran Jawahar, who had also directed Dhanush in Yaaradi Nee Mohini and the forthcoming release Kutty. It may be recalled that Yaaradi Nee Mohini was a blockbuster and Mithran’s association with Dhanush continued with Kutty. With this untitled film, the director is on the verge of giving a hat trick with the same hero.

This yet-to-be-named film is a remake of the Telugu smash hit Ready, which also had Genelia as the heroine. The film is being produced by Mohan Apparao and Ramesh Thandra under the banner Balaji Studios Private Limited. The producers have decided to make this film on a huge budget on the lines of Chandramukhi and Gilli.
