Ajith’s racing DNA came once again

Ajith’s racing DNA came to the fore once again during the shooting schedule of Asal in France.

The unit was shooting a car chase sequence and a stunt expert named Patrick who specialized in car chase sequences had been roped in for the job. At a particular point, the car in which Ajith’s character is supposed to be traveling was required to do some risky maneuvers. Patrick requested Ajith to make way for a body double to drive the car for these shots. But, Ajith was insistent on driving the car himself and pulled off the required maneuvers with ease. Patrick was a bit awed because he had never seen an actor being so good at the wheel at such high speeds. Quite obviously, he did not know much about Ajith’s racing history and that he was a man who was close to choosing car racing as a profession.

Let’s hope that the car chase sequence turns out to be a thrilling experience on screen.
