Aayirathil Oruvan and Payya release gap only one month

Lingusamy’s Payya is not all about travel as many seem to think. The director reveals that though travel is an important aspect in the film, several incidents that occur before and after the travel will be very interesting to watch. Payya, which has Karthi and Tamannah in the lead, is due for release in February 2010. The film has created quite a lot of expectation as Lingusamy says that it will break the trend that is currently on in Kollywood.

Interestingly, two of Karthi’s films – Aayirathil Oruvan and Payya – are being released within a gap of just one month. The actor, it is worth a mention here, waited patiently for three long years after Paruthiveeran for a release. With two ace directors – Selvaraghavan and Lingusamy – looks like 2010 may belong to Karthi!
