Tamannah has inaugurated the Kalanikethan saree showroom

Tamannah inaugurated the popular Kalanikethan saree showroom in T Nagar at 10 am yesterday (October 10th, 2010). The actress appeared in gorgeous purple saree decked with some chunky jewelry. She marked the launch of the showroom by cutting the ribbon and declaring it open to the public. She later lighted the traditional lamp to mark an auspicious beginning. The actress then checked out some the latest saree collections before leaving the venue.

Tamannah said that she preferred to wear saree to modern dress and has a vast collection of sarees. The actress revealed that when she was in Hyderabad recently for a shooting, she made it a point to visit the Kalanikethan showroom there to purchase sarees.
