Suriya brother Karthi’s hat-trick

Not many in the film industry get as lucky as Karthi. If 'Aayirathil Oruvan' made his sweet Pongal sweeter, he made the skies rain in the peak summer of April with 'Paiyya'. Now with Naan Mahaan Alla running successfully for 50 days, Karthi completes a hat-trick of hits in the same year. Naan Mahaan Alla has been the black horse in the box office weathering competition from a host of other movies that got released.

Karthi is not alone in the hat-trick club. He is joined by producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja who has struck gold for the third time after ‘Paruthiveeran’ and ‘Singam’. Naan Mahaan Alla is still going strong even after 50 days in theatres. Cloud Nine Productions is still having its hand over the promotional campaigns through satellite channels.
