Shruthi Haasan: I don't have plan for Malayalam projects

Shruthi Haasan was recently reported of having signed a Malayalam film ‘Talsamayam Oru Pennkutty’, which is supposed to be directed by Rajeev Kumar. He has been one of the finest filmmaker of Malayalam film industry and has made it a point of portraying female characters as his lead character.

He had revived the image of Sameera Reddy in his recent Malayalam film ‘Oru Naal Varum’, in which she gained incredible laurels. Off the late, we heard that Rajeev Kumar had approached Kamal Haasan to go through a script for his next film titled ‘Talsamayam Oru Pennkutty’, which revolves around the girl and her life getting transformed into web of complications as she enrolls herself into TV reality show.

It was reported that Shruthi Haasan will be essaying this role. Recently Shruthi Haasan erased such calls on airs saying that they are baseless rumors.

At present, Shruthi wants to focus mainly into Tamil and Hindi film industry. She is acting in a Tamil film with Suriya titled ‘Ezham Arivu’, a Telugu film with Siddarth and a Hindi film ‘Dil To Baccha Hai’ with Ajay Devgn and Eemran Hashmi.
