Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal crew arrested by the London police

The film crew of Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal was arrested by the police in London for using a helicopter over the stipulated time of two hours. The film’s director Vasu Bhaskar obtained permission from the authorities to use a helicopter to film a song sequence. The authorities permitted the unit to fly for two hours but the shooting extended and the director did not stick to the time frame.

Following this, the director of Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal and unit members were arrested. However, on the intervention of film’s heroine Jyothsna, who is a UK citizen, the crew members were set free with a warning.
