Dhanush’s Kutty won’t be left behind

While the Karthi starrer Aayirathil Oruvan and the Vishal starrer Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai will certainly partake in the Pongal release race, news that Dhanush’s Kutty will also be released on Pongal has brought much joy to the movie buffs.

Kutty has been directed by Mithran Jawahar and it is a remake of the Telugu smash hit Arya. We hear that the film’s audio will be released in December. The audio is a much expected affair because in Yaaradu Nee Mohini the team had used the services of Yuvan Shankar Raja and the songs turned out to be chartbusters, while for Kutty Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music.

Earlier Goa and Asal were also in the race, but due to certain issues, both the films’ release has been pushed to the back burner. There are reports that Asal could make it as a Republic Day release.
