The FICCI FRAMES 2009 is all set to begin on November 18th! This two-day media and entertainment business conclave, which will be held at the Le Meridian Hotel in Chennai, is a strong initiative of Dr Kamal Haasan. In a curtain raiser of the event that took place today at the Park Sheraton Hotel, it was disclosed that there was strict competition among the different states in India to host the conference, but Kamal brought the honor to Tamil Nadu by his sheer efforts.
Those present along with Kamal Haasan during the curtain raiser included N Murali, Leena Jaisani, M.Rafeeque Ahmed and Elangovan.
Speaking at the event Kamal said that henceforth the conference will be held in all the south Indian states – Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Kamal also thanked the government of Tamil Nadu for all the help especially the financial support. He disclosed that the CM allotted Rs. 5 lakhs for the event.
Several issues that have been plaguing the media and entertainment industry will be discussed in the conference, added Kamal.
