Latest news about 3 idiots tamil remake
Shankar has silently been working on the 3 Idiots remake and is having all the pre-production work done before commencing the shooting. He will begin canning this remake in December in Delhi, it may be noted.
The casting for this film was a topic of discussion as it has three heroes and Shankar finally managed to rope in Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth. Music director Harris Jayaraj, who is composing for this film, has worked on three songs and all the three are reportedly approved by Shankar. Some more songs are to be added and the musician and director are working towards getting it right.

Chances raining for Amala Paul in Kollywood
Amala Paul is pairing with Arya in Vettai directed by Lingusamy. After Myna, talks are going on with Amala Paul to act in four films with leading heroes. The final stage talks are going on with her to act in the film Devamagan which has Vikram in the lead and is to be directed by Vijay.
Similarly producers have approached Amala Paul to act in the films which will have Dhanush and Simbhu in the lead roles respectively. Though she is getting lots of offers in Malayalam, she is very interested to act in Tamil films. Amala Paul while speaking said,” Though there were sensations when I acted in Sindhu Samaveli, the film Myna introduced me to everyone.
So far I have listened to ten stories. I have agreed for some films. I am pairing with Arya in Vettai. Talks with regard to Devamagan are going on. I can’t say that I am selecting films that have leading actors in the cast because story is also important.”

Engeyum Kaadhal Movie releases on Pongal
Prabhu Deva's directorial venture Engeyum Kaathal, starring Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles, is all set to grace theatres for Pongal. The film is a romantic musical shot extensively in Paris, France. Music composed by Harris Jayaraj is already rocking the charts. Sony BMG has acquired the audio rights of Engeyum Kaathal.
The film also marks the Kollywood debut of teenage sensation Hansika Motwani.

Vijay's Vettaikaaran going to Tollywood as Puli Veta
Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Vettaikaaran (2009), directed by B. Babusivan with Anushka as the heroine, is being dubbed in Telugu as Puli Veta. Noted production designer M.V. Gopala Rao has acquired the dubbing rights.
"The original was a big box office hit in Tamil Nadu. It collected almost Rs. 50 crores. The dubbing work is currently in progress. Srihari plays the role of a sincere police office in the film," Gopala Rao said. The film has dialogues by Shashank Vennelakanti, music by Vijay Anthony and lyrics by Bhuvanachandra, Vennelakanti and Vanamali.
The film revolves around a youngster Ravi (Vijay), who makes his journey from Tuticorin to Chennai to achieve his life's ambition of becoming a cop. He joins a Chennai college and makes ends meet by driving an auto rickshaw. He meets Suseela (Anushka) and falls in love with her instantaneously.
But his peaceful life takes a different turn when Ravi meets Chella (Ravi Shankar), son of a bad cop Devanayakam (Salim Ghouse), who tries to spoil the life of Ravi's classmate Uma (Sanchitha Padukone). When he tries to fight Chella, he faces trouble from Chella's father Devanayakam, the major villain of the story. What happens next? How does Ravi face the bad men? See the movie to know!

Nic Arts S S Chakravarthy is producing a film titled Vettai Mannan which has Simbhu in the lead role. There are three heroines which includes a Bollywood actress.

Shruthi Haasan to pair up with Udhayanidhi Stalin
Udhayanidhi Stalin is now progressing with his project that will mark his onscreen debut in Kollywood. The film was first titled as ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ and was reported to be a romantic entertainer with same level of comedy that was present in ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ and ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’. But now Rajesh has likely changed the film’s title as ‘Nanbenda’.
But it was a difficult task to find the film’s heroine as most of the top-charting heroines refused to pair with him. They were ready to pay any big salary to Nayanthara, but she kept denying with the fact that Prabhu Deva doesn’t allow her to do so.
Finally after not finding any actresses, both Udhayanidhi Stalin and director Rajesh have zeroed down on Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruthi.

Divya Spandana says that she is not pair with Vikram
Recently there were reports that Madarasapattinam director Vijay is likely to sign Kannada star Divya Spandana to play a prominent role in his venture produced by Mohan Natarajan. But the actress has completely denied the news.
"About the Tamil film with Vikram I have been reading about, honestly, its not true. I haven't heard from anybody in the first place," Divya Spandana tweeted.
Director Vijay's regular team of Nirav Shah (camera), G.V. Prakash (music), Selva (art) and Anthony (editing) will join him in this project. Anushka and Amala Paul will be the female leads. According to sources, the film is loosely based on the Hollywood flick I am Sam, where a mentally retarded man fights for the custody of his only son. Reportedly director Vijay's nephew will play the role of Vikram's son in the Tamil version.

Sasikumar speaks about Easan movie story line
Sasikumar has sharp details in all his films. Be his very debut directorial ‘Subramaniapuram’ or his other production ‘Pasanga’, he had something to touch on grounds of reality. This time, it will be better than his best. Yes, Sasikumar has jumped into a different ground of making his next film. It will not be a village based film as he focuses into the night life of Chennai.
Couple of songs and trailer screened during the audio launch of ‘Easan’ had raised some questions amongst the special invitees. During one of the pub songs, it is seen that a girl is being harassed by couple of guys in the pub. So is it based on the same incident that happened before few years in Chennai?
Ask Sasikumar and he says, ‘Not at all. It is not based on such an incident. But various incidents that has been shocking the city… I want to make it clear that the film is not only about the night life of Chennai, but it touches various grounds. Just as the audiences walk out of theatres, they will be shocked.’
With such a confident statement from Sasikumar, we can expect that he has something big in store for this time as well.

Vijay TV to telecast Manmadhan Ambu movie audio launch
Vijay TV will telecast the much-awaited Manmadhan Ambu audio launch, held in Singapore, on December 5 at 11 a.m. The grand event was an extravagant three day affair as the entire cast began their journey from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in a luxury cruise liner and headed to Singapore.
The entire Manmadhan Ambu cast, including Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Madhavan, Sangeetha, director K.S. Ravikumar, music director Devi Sri Prasad, Ramesh Arvind took part in the event.
On December 10 at 7.30 p.m. the channel will telecast the journey of Manmadhan Ambu crew along with Kamal fans on the luxury cruise. On Sunday, 19th December, it's Manmadhan Ambu Day on Vijay TV; the channel will telecast exclusive interviews with Kamal Haasan, Madhavan, Trisha, Sangeetha, K.S. Ravikumar, Devi Sri Prasad and footage from the making of the audio launch video.
